On Sunday, July 14, 2023 at 3:30 p.m., the best capoeira fighters will compete with and against each other at the Schlossplatz. In the disciplines of pair fights and solo acrobatics, the spectators are offered daring jumps and the toughest fights. The participants meet at 2 p.m. behind the Schlossplatz stage.

Pitú Reinha de Batteria 2024
compete for the title of Pitú Reinha de Batteria, the queen of the samba group. The decisive factor is choreography, a sense of rhythm and skillful presentation. Every step has to be right. The best dancer is chosen by the jury and the audience choose its favorite. The top three will present themselves to the audience at the Samba Session on Sunday, July 14th at 2 p.m. .
conditions of participation
The musical accompaniment is live. Your own CDs or recordings are not permitted. Only Rio Samba will be danced in the competition. The jury will be made up of selected experts and celebrities. The musicality, samba steps, expression and choreography will be evaluated. With registration, all image and film rights will be assigned to Sambaco for their own use. Anyone is allowed unless you are involved in the festivalteam. You have to be at least 18 years old.
course of the competition
The numbers will be issued on Saturday, July 13th at 10 p.m. in the foyer of the Kongresshaus. The best ten dancers will reach the finals. The final selection will take place directly afterwards on the stage in the Kongresshaus. The final participants will dance in groups of five with 2 minutes of dance time. The award ceremony will take place at around 1: 30 p.m. .
