Samba-Festival enthusiast Robert Weininger from Nuremberg has hung up his racing boots. The serial winner of the Nuremberg soapbox derby is auctioning off his prized possession to benefit Giovane Elber’s association for the support of Brazilian street children. The award-winning soapbox has been freshly painted and is of very high quality. Printed on its hood with the Latin phrase “The great aim of education is not knowledge, but action!”, the car perfectly reflects the values ​​and work of Giovane Elber’s association.

The winning soapbox will be auctioned off during the Samba-Festival on the arcades above. Bids can only be submitted secretly using bidding cards. These cards are available either directly next to the displayed soapbox or at the entrance to the guest area. The minimum bid is €1,000. Bidding is open from Friday at 5:00 p.m. until Saturday at midnight. The highest bidder will win on Sunday.
